FIRST ALBUM – LONDON BLUES (2013):

London Blusion was formed in 2015 after Turkish born British guitarist & composer Mete Ege’s debut release “London Blues” in 2013 which included many guest musicians from London’s jazz, blues and rock live music scene and was mastered by Andy Jackson of Pink Floyd.

Since the album’s release Mete Ege and his band have been constantly on the radio both nationally and internationally and performing in London & UK’s live music circuit.

SINGLES:

The band released two more singles in 2014 & 2015 titled “Ghosts of London“ (as Mete Ege’s London Blues), an instrumental song written to create awareness for the homeless and “Right Track“ (as Mete’s London Bluesion) which was a collaboration with lyricist Tony Bianco from Nashville, USA. Both singles got constant radio airplay nationally and internationally and were mastered by Andy Jackson (Pink Floyd). (They are added as bonus tracks on the 2017 London Blusion album.

ABBEY ROAD and THEREAFTER:

As the first album’s awareness started to grow, Mete’s London Blues was invited to the world famous Abbey Road Studios to perform in Studio 1 in January 2015. Steve Yourglivch, editor of Blues Matters magazine in UK, described the performance as: “It doesn’t get any better than this..the wonderfully gifted Mete and his amazing band London Blues at Abbey Road. The best in the UK… without a doubt.“

After being invited and performed at the prestigious The Cambridge Rock & Blues Festival in 2016, London Blusion also received an invitation and performed at the HRH Blues Festival in Sheffield 02 Academy in April 2017 headlining stage 2 before the main act Ten Years After. After returning back to play at The Cambridge Rock & Blues Festival 2017, London Blusion recently performed at the Live TV streaming show New Cross Roads in October 2017 viewed by 13 000 people on its first broadcast on Facebook. The band also performed at the charity event for SANE in October 2017.

The band’s next live performance was at Nambucca in London on 29th November 2017 for their 2017 albumSecond Time Luckylaunch.

NEW NAME – LONDON BLUSION (2017):

Mete Ege’s London Blues, a collective of many working professional musicians from the London live music circuit, released their second album in April 2017 titled “Second Time Lucky“ under their new and current band name, London Blusion.  The album was picked up to be one of the Top40 albums of 2017 by Rock Radio UK and reached number 12 in the most played albums charts by the IBBA.

LONDON BLUSION’S THIRD ALBUM ‘THREE IS A CROWD’ (2018)

‘Three is a Crowd’ came out in June the 7th and straight away the album was picked up by IBBA djs and chosen to be one of the best five albums of the month for July 2018.

London Blusion performed their album launch at Nambucca on 7th of June. Elliot Randall of Steely Dan and Magdy of Cairo Son joined the band for the performance that evening.METE & ELLIOT & MAGS

London Blusion also was invited to play at the prestigious Tuesday Night Music Club in Coulsdon on 12th of June.

A busy summer of 2018 for Mete and London Blusion ! Next stop was The Great British Guitar Festival 2018 ! Again, joining Mete on stage as a guest was Mr. Elliot Randall !
